You train your body awareness, improve your agility and strengthen your muscles in a targeted, gentle way. Nordic Walking to Lake MajingseeWe take a Nordic-walking tour to the picturesque Lake Majingsee, which is nestled between Gemmi and Torrent. We start in Leukerbad and learn the proper Nordic walking technique. Did you know that Nordic walking engages 80–90% of your muscles, as it activates both your upper and lower body? Enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery as you pursue a sporting activity that is gentle on the joints. Knowledge snacksEach day, there are compact and informative knowledge snacks to look forward to. In these brief sessions, we look at three core topics: healthy habits, dietary insights and relaxation tricks. Our aim is to inspire you and furnish you with practical knowledge. Bathing at the Leukerbad ThermeLook forward to ten different pools with water temperatures between 28°C and 44°C. These include the sports pool and various large outdoor pools with massage jets and lounging areas that offer a direct view of the surrounding rock faces and nature. The natural stone grotto with its unfiltered thermal water and steam generator at 44° Celsius will soon have you sweating and clear your airways. If programme changes become necessary due to the weather, the replacement activity will be of equivalent value.
The Gemmi Health Weeks, including exercise sessions, knowledge transfer, and meditation, are generally held in German. However, the health coaches are multilingual and are happy to support you in French or English.

FridayHiking on the historic Gemmiweg trailTo round off the Gemmi Health Week, we walk the Gemmiweg Trail (on a voluntary basis, of course). The Gemmiweg Trail is a spectacular, historic mountain trail. It is one of the most impressive pass routes in the Alps, as it winds its way from Leukerbad through nearly vertical rock faces up to Gemmi Lodge 2350. Historically, the Gemmi Pass used to be an important trade and transit route between Bern and Valais. The Gemmiweg trail was originally carved into the vertical limestone walls as a mule track in the 18th century. Healthy movementA varied mat training programme under professional guidance awaits you. Leukerbad & the Leukerbad Therme
With its natural thermal springs and pure mountain air, Leukerbad offers an ideal setting for the Gemmi Health Week. In Switzerland’s largest spa resort, 3.9 million litres of hot water at 51 degrees Celsius gush from 65 thermal springs every day. It takes an incredible 40 years for the mountain water to seep into the depths of the rock and accumulate valuable minerals that turn it into health-promoting thermal water. It bubbles up out of the ground, naturally heated to a high temperature.

Maximum group size: 16 persons , Minimum group size: 10 persons
If there are too few bookings, the Health Week will not take place. We will communicate the decision four weeks before the start at the latest and refund the deposit immediately.
