The unique Gemmi Health Week at 2350 metres altitude gives you space to consciously connect with your body. Not only will you be more relaxed and have noticeably more energy, but you’ll also return home with new knowledge for a healthier future.

MondayHealthy MovementYou can look forward to a varied mat workout under professional guidance. Our health coach, Sandra Grichting, designs sessions based on yoga or Pilates, or a combination of both disciplines. For even more variety and intensity, accessories such as yoga blocks, foam rollers, or balls may be used. You’ll train your body awareness, improve your flexibility, and strengthen your muscles in a targeted and gentle way. Nordic Walking to Lake MajingWe’ll go on a Nordic walking tour to the picturesque Lake Majing, nestled between Gemmi and Torrent. We start in Leukerbad and learn the technique of Nordic walking. Did you know that this activity engages 80–90% of your muscles, as both your upper and lower body are activated? Enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery while getting a workout that’s gentle on your joints. You’ll receive simple explanations on how to better manage your stress levels even after the week is over. |

Swimming at the Leukerbad ThermeYou can look forward to ten different pools with water temperatures ranging from 28°C to 44°C. These include the sports pool and various large outdoor pools with massage jets and lounging areas that offer a direct view of the surrounding rock faces and nature. The natural stone grotto, with unfiltered thermal water and a steam generator, will work you up a sweat at 44° Celsius and clear your airways. WednesdayMindful Hiking Around DaubenseeThis tour is much more than just hiking—you’ll receive an introduction to mindfulness practice in the heart of nature. You’ll learn to use walking itself as a sensory meditation to be fully present in the moment and stay centered. Between program activities, you’ll have time to yourself—to relax, read, take in the mountain air, or enjoy a personalized treatment.
The Gemmi Health Weeks, including exercise sessions, knowledge transfer, and meditation, are generally held in German. However, the health coaches are multilingual and are happy to support you in French or English.
Leukerbad & the Leukerbad Therme
With its natural thermal springs and pure mountain air, Leukerbad offers an ideal setting for the Gemmi Health Week. In Switzerland’s largest spa resort, 3.9 million litres of hot water up to 51 degrees Celsius gush from 65 thermal springs every day. It takes an incredible 40 years for the mountain water to seep into the depths of the rock and accumulate valuable minerals that turn it into health-promoting thermal water. It bubbles up out of the ground, naturally heated to a high temperature.

If there are too few bookings, the Health Week will not take place. We will communicate the decision four weeks before the start at the latest and refund the deposit immediately.
